1. Are pets allowed? Is there any extra cost?

At the houses from Recanto d’Aldeia, pets are allowed. It has no extra cost, however, their owners are responsible for any damage caused by them, either in the accommodation or in the common areas.

2. Are only dogs allowed at Recanto d’Aldeia?

Any pet is welcome, as long as they are used to sharing their space with their owners and, if necessary, have no problem staying alone in the accommodation.

3. Do we have to share the house?

The houses from Recanto d’Aldeia are two independent houses. Only the leisure area is shared by guests.

4. Is the pool private to a house?

The pool located in the leisure area is exclusive to Recanto d’Aldeia. Thus, it has to be shared by the 2 houses and, sometimes, by the owners.

5. Is the pool open all year round?

The pool is closed between 25/09and 31/05.

6. Can we use the barbecue?

The barbecue can be used by all guests, in coordination between them for its use.

7. How many people can stay in each house?

Casa das Colmeias can accommodate two people and Casa do Burro four people - two in the bedroom on a double bed and another two in the living room on a double sofa bed.

8. What kind of heating/cooling is there in the houses?

The houses of Recanto d’Aldeia have air conditioning in the living rooms and bedrooms.

9. Do the houses have a coffee machine? What kind?

They have an espresso coffee machine in capsules, which are also provided by us free of charge.

10. Are there minimum night stays?

Reservations are made for a minimum of 2 nights. However, throughout the year, there are periods when this minimum number of nights changes. Talk to us.

11. Do you serve meals?

If requested, we serve breakfast, available in a basket. This have an additional cost.

12. How far are the houses from the beach?

The nearest sea beaches, along the coast, are approximately 35 minutes away on good roads. The river beaches that exist in the area are approximately between 25 and 40 minutes.

13. Are there any supermarkets in the area?

The supermarkets in the area are small, with traditional opening hours (Monday to Saturday), and they don't have some products that can be more specific. Large supermarkets are located on the coast at 35 minutes.

14. Is it easy to find the accommodation in the village?

When you arrive in Giões, do not use the GPS. On the main street of the village, there is a sign indicating the way to the private car park at Recanto d’Aldeia.
